Introductions, I guess?

You may have read the about section, but just in case (and to be polite), I’m mikepatx. I work in the offensive security space and I enjoy learning. I’ve done blogs probably a bunch of times over the years but always get lost in the sauce and struggle to keep the ball rolling. Typically one of the issues that I have is that I only try to focus on specific niches in my posts. This isn’t going to be that kind of thing. I am keen to be a better writer, and to write about more than just security topics. I may write about the d&d campaign that I’m running at the time, a coding project that I’m working on, a talk that I’m writing, a dish that I’m trying to cook, or any other random thought that seems interesting to write about. Hopefully someone finds what I’m writing to be helpful, or interesting, or just gets something from it in general.

I have a couple topics in mind for my first real posts. Most likely I will start with an essay around world building that I have been really enjoying lately! There are also several coding project that I want to write about once I have them a bit further along in the process. Thanks for coming to my TED talk!
